From LeeLee With Love- Benefit gift set

Hi guys! I hope you are all doing well. Today I'll be talking about the very limited edition Benefit gift set, From LeeLee With Love. The gift set includes the full tube of POREfessional, the full tube of They're Real! mascara, and a 10ml bottle of Laugh With Me LeeLee perfume. I originally wanted to by the POREfessional gift set with the full tube of POREfessional, a mini That Gal primer and the It's Potent! mini eye cream. However, when I went to buy it, it was sold out as it was limited edition aswell. I came across this gorgeous set, which I thought was really good value, so I decided to buy this instead.

I have raved time and time again over my love of Benefit's POREfessional. I think once of the a nice base, it will pull the rest of your make-up, making you look polished and flawless. Primer is a key product to achieve a perfect base. POREfessional is oil-free, lightweight and silky, it glides on skin like a dream. It gives an airbrushed look to my make-up and made the foundation I had on look even better. To put it to the test, I wore it out on a night out, and the make-up was the same as when I just applied it! I adore this primer so much. A full tube on its own retails at €35. 10/10.

They're Real! mascara is a good mascara, yet I still feel that it's overhyped and pricey for what it is. I keep this mascara for special occasions, or when I'm going out. I love how it gives the look of false eyelashes and really darkens and lengthens my lashes. It doesn't budge off my eyes one bit. I find that one coat is plenty, anymore and you may get a bad case of spider lashes, not a great look! I don't like how it can feel drying on the lashes. A full tube of this costs €26. 7/10

This is my first go of Benefit perfume and I was really impressed! The staying power is fantastic. It's strong yet subtle and a little goes a long way. I absolutely adore the bottle, which looks like a mini cocktail shaker, how cute! Laugh With Me LeeLee is woody, floral, fresh and citrusy. It's feminine and perfect for Spring! The full 30ml bottle costs €44. 10/10.

I absolutely love this gift set! I think the products that come with it are fantastic and I'll really use them all up. The packaging is amazing, the products come in a fabulously beautiful tin, which I can use for storage and it blends in lovely with my room, I'll use it to store my make-up brushes I think. I was lucky as I managed to grab the very last one in the shop! The products separately would cost €74.50, but I got it for a brilliant €44. As I got a gift voucher for €30 for the shop that Benefit is in, I only had to put €13 towards it, brilliant!

30 Beauty Questions Tag

Hi there everyone! How are you all on this wonderful Monday? That's not even sarcasm, I'm feeling    pretty good today! As you may know, if you read my blog regularly, I love to do tag posts. It's a nice  break up from the usual and you get to find out more about the person behind the blog, it gets people     involved to do the tag on their own page, and I just plain love to fill stuff out, like surveys and what have you. Above all else, it's fun! I found this one floating around somewhere on the Interwebz. Enjoy!

1. Do you remember your first makeup item?
As far back as I can remember, I have always had make-up around the place. When I was just a little one, I used to get the play make-up that you could get in the pound shop. I think when I was 9, I bought a gold glitter eyeliner, the first ''proper'' bit of make-up I got was a lime green eye shadow from Bourjois. ''Why lime green?'' I think to myself, haha. :)
2. Describe your perfect mascara. Have you found one that fits your specifications?
I don't care for thick eyelashes. I love a nice mascara that will lengthen and make my lashes even blacker. A nice mascara that won't dry, flake, or clump on me. The closest I've gotten is Rimmel's Lash Accelerator mascara

3. What kind of coverage do you prefer from foundation?
I like a nice bit of coverage to cover any imperfections and my dreaded freckles and redness. I don't like it too heavy though, that I can feel it sitting on my face.

4. Favorite high end brand?
I wish I had the money to try more high end products. I end up going high end for skin care more so. Clarins and Benefit I suppose. DNKY for perfume.

5. What cosmetic brands have you always wanted to try but still haven't?
Loads! NARS, Bioderma, Clinique, NYX, YSL. Money is the only thing holing me back. :(

6. Favorite drugstore brand?
Rimmel! Such good quality make-up for so cheap. :)

7. Do you wear fake eyelashes?
I have once or twice and I loved them! I absoltely cannot hack them. They are so difficult to do. So for special occasions, I'll break out They're Real! by Benefit. Just as good.

8. Is there any kind of makeup you can't leave the house without?
Concealer concealer concealer.

9. What is your most cherised beauty product?

POREfessional by Benefit. I think once you have a nice base, it makes all the difference. It's the best!

10. How often do you shop for makeup? Do you like to pick up an item here and there or get lots of goodies at once?
Depends what's in, really. I have to say, I get at least one new make-up item a week.

11. Do you have a "beauty budget" or you spend freely?
I have to have a budget or I'll spend too much on make-up!

12. Do you utilize coupons, rewards cards and sales when you shop for cosmetics?
If I can, I will! I always have my eyes peeled for a sale or on deals around.

13. What type of product do you buy the most of?
I love lipsticks so much! So probably those. :)

14. Is there a brand that you absolutely can't stand?
I don't think there's a brand I ''Can't stand'''. Unpopular opinion, but I think MAC is way too overpriced and there's plenty of make-up out there that's the same and does the job, without the hefty price tag.

15. Do you avoid certain ingredients in cosmetics like parabens or sulfates?
I do! My big ingredients to avoid would be sulfates, parabens, alcohol and sodium laurel sulfate. I try to avoid products that are animal tested, too.

16. Do you have a favorite place to shop for makeup?
Debenhams in Dublin have everything!

17. Do you like trying new skincare products or do you keep a certain routine?
I have a strict skincare routine, but I do like to experiment around with promising skincare products.

18. Favorite bath and body brand?
Lush, without a doubt in my mind! I love Soap and Glory too.

19. If you could only buy from one brand, which brand would you choose?
Rimmel.

20. What brand do you think has the best packaging?
Benefit! It's absolutely beautiful and unique.

21. Which celebrity always has great makeup?
Dita Von Teese. <3

22Do you belong to any online makeup communities?
I don't think so? I find out about new make-up and the likes via Bloglovin'. :)

23. 5 Favorite Beauty Gurus
Michelle Phan, BeautyCrush, Zoella and Coleyyyful.

24. Do you like multifunctional products like lip and cheek stains?
I think they're pretty meh, to be honest. They dry way too quickly to blend.

25. Are you clumsy in putting makeup?
Eye make-up, yes. I'm really trying to get good at it.

26. Do you use makeup base/primer for the eyes?
I don't. I should though, probably.

27. How many hair products do you use on a typical day?
Lets see... on a normal day where I'm not washing my hair, I just use a hair oil. When I wash it, shampoo, conditioner and a straightener. Once a week I'll use a hair mask.
28. What do you apply first, concealer or foundation?
Foundation then concealer. I feel it works better for me personally.

29. Do you ever consider taking makeup classes?
If I had the money, I would take ALL the beauty classes!

30. What do you love about makeup?
I love everything about it! It completes a look. You can do so much with it. With it, you can design yourself however you like, try out loads of new looks. It brings confidence and creativity and I just love to experiment with it. It can transform you completely!

Thank you all for reading! Feel free to put this on your own blog, and link me to it if you've done so, I'd love to read them!

Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel with Marula Oil

Hi everyone. :) Happy Wednesday! I hope you are all doing well. Today, I will be doing a review on the loved among the beauty community- Clarins Pure Melt Cleansing Gel with Marula Oil.
I bought this particular cleanser because I really trust Clarins the most when it comes to skincare. While it can run pricey, I have no problem investing in good skincare I know will work, and Clarins cleansers last me months. I switched to a lighter cleanser as the weather is milder. Dehydrated skin has eased off, so hydration isn't so much a big deal this time of year for me. This cleanser is a gel formula, which, when massaged into dry skin, becomes an oil and when water is added becomes a thin milk formula. It smells quite nice too. This cleanser is best used massaged onto a dry face, as you gently massage it in, it becomes an oil and using a little water, keep massaging as it becomes a thin milk formula, it doesn't lather up too much, which I love! Then rinse it all off and pat it dry with a clean towel.

The thing I love the most about this is how applying this cleanser feels! When you massage it as it's an oil, it feels almost like you're giving yourself some sort of spa treatment, it feels so nice, luxurious and special, the nice scent fills the air and it's just a treat to apply! There's a very special ingredient in this cleanser, star of the show- Marula Oil. Marula oil is very beneficial to skin. It's known to: Hydrate, protect against the elements, maintain skin's moisture barrier, and revives dull skin, and it certainly delivers on all counts. After using this cleanser for a few weeks, I found that this cleanser has left my skin feeling incredibly clean, fresh, soft, my skin is in overall better condition, hydrated and alot calmer. It's also managed to tackle another hang up I have about my skin- dullness. I feel my skin is more radiant than usual! However, it doesn't do a good job of keeping shine at bay, and doesn't do much for my angry breakouts on my chin. So if you guys know of any products that will help in that department, do let me know! It keeps oiliness under control and it's amazing for sensitive skin at bay and removes every single trace of make-up, even heavy eye make-up without a hint of irritation! Like I said, the Clarins range can run pricey. For 100ml, this cost me €23.50, the most I have ever spent on skincare, but it's proving to be worth every penny. And I would definitely repurchase! 9/10.

Lush gift set- My Fair Lady

Hi guys! It feels so good to be back blogging let me tell you! I have been sooo super busy between my birthday, setting up my new camera, courtesy of my amazing sister Ray who unexpectedly bought it for me, I was so shocked! I am working 6 days a week for the next two weeks, so I haven't been big on the blogging scene, and I have really really missed it. For my birthday, my boyfriend got me a gorgeous gift set from my favourite shop- Lush. I am made up with it! So I thought I would review it. Photos were taken with my new camera- the Nikon L820, who I've named Lady.

Lady and I

My Fair Lady gift set

The gift set came with six lovely products: Buffy buffing bar, Charity Pot Lotion, Miranda soap, Turkish Delight shower smoothie, Olive Branch shower gel and Tiny Hands solid hand moisturiser. All in a vibrant, gorgeous hatbox. I loved all of the products in this, however I wish the Olive Branch shower gel and Charity Pot lotion was bigger as I simply adore them!

Buffy buffing bar- My second favourite product in the gift set. The Buffy buffing bar is a exfoliating and a moisturising solid bar in one. It includes ground rice, almonds and ground aduki beans, which helps buff away dead skin and leaves skin soft and very very smooth and makes skin look fresher. It also includes cocoa and shea butter to hydrate and moisturise, leaving skin velvety smooth, that you don't need to apply lotion afterwards. It smells beautiful and I adore rubbing this on as it feels like a massage almost, and in sinks in so well. I will definitely repurchase on its own! 10/10.

Charity Pot body lotion- My favorite product in the gift set, and favourite body lotion, ever. There is so much to love about Charity Pot! First of all, 100% of the profits excluding VAT, goes to good causes, so you can smell good while doing good, which can be said about everything in Lush, to be honest. Charity Pot is the most delicious smelling thing, ever. Like chocolate or raw cocoa butter, mmm. I do wish it was a bigger pot as I love it so much, next time I go to Lush, I will purchase the bigger pot. It's completely non greasy or leave any residue and it sinks in so fast you can put on your clothes straight after. The smell stays on so long and you can still smell it on your clothes, which I personally love. 10/10.

Miranda soap- A deliciously fruity smelling soap, perfect for the Summer and mornings especially. Miranda soap is a versatile soap that can be used on hand or in the shower I do sometimes, or in the bath. It cleanses and brightens the skin as well as adding a beautiful fruity, yet subtle fragrance. It includes fresh kiwi, coconut oil and bergamot oil, as well as ylang ylang and juniper berry. As I used this soap more, I notice a slightly grainy texture, which turned out to be ground up kiwi seed, fantastic for exfoliating. However, I do think it has that drying feeling normal soap has, which I don't like, so I'm not too sure if I would repurchase. 7/10.

Turkish Delight shower smoothie- I'm not big on rosy, floral smells like Turkish Delight, but it was not so overpowering that I still liked it. However, I would not purchase this again. It had a mousse like texture which was awkward to work into the skin and I did find it had the typical soap drying feeling which I didn't like. Turkish Delight includes neroli oil. cocoa butter, Turkish rose. almond oil, and jasmine. 5/10

Tiny Hands hand lotion- With the cold weather and in work shifting boxes and I do get dermatitis in cold weather on my hands, I need a decent hand lotion to nourish, hydrate, something to soften dry cracked hands. Tiny hands really delivers. It includes cocoa and shea butter, Argan oil, and aloe vera. It really softens my hands and hydrates them and takes away the dry feeling and the look of dry skin. However, I wish it was compact for on the go and it takes so long to set in. 8/10.

Olive Branch shower gel- Again, like the Charity Pot body lotion, I wish it was bigger because I loved it so much. Strong smelling with masculine notes, it smells beautiful and men could wear it too. The Olive Branch includes organic olive oil, vine leaves, sea salt, fresh mandarins and bergamot oil. It's based on the Mediterranean diet. The olive oil comes from a Palestinian/Isreali collective, so it's supporting a good cause. The olive oil make skin feel really soft. The mandarin notes are really refreshing and fresh. I do wish it was a bit thicker and less runny in consistency, but I would repurchase. 9/10.

Altogether, I love this gift set! It's the perfect gift for your friend, girlfriend, sister or mother. especially if they love Lush. I really recommend it! Sorry about the lack of blog posts lately, but I hope to be back to normal this week, blogging wise. I have loads of blog reading to catch up on too.
Chewy gets use out of the gift set too. :)

February Favourites

Hi guys! I'm going to talk about my favorite product I have gotten and adored this month, my first favourites post! Honestly I am so happy March is here! I love that fresh feeling that Spring brings and I love how mild it gets. More so because, this Wednesday, I turn the big 21 and I'm getting my new camera then finally! My 21st party is this Saturday too and the day before my birthday it's pancake Tuesday, it's my week. :D

Max Factor Lasting Perfection- I don't think I have ever talked about this amazing product on here before. It's my holy grail foundation for 3 years now! It's in my February favourites because I've gone back to a not so happy experience with Bourjois Healthy Mix, and I will never cheat on Lasting Perfection again. It covers all I want to cover, without being cakey, looks nice and natural on, and it stays on the face from morning to night, with absolutely no wear away, it's everything I look for in a foundation The formula is lovely and light feeling. I get a good amount of time out of it aswell as the packaging can be cut open to get the last of it too, it's amazing!

Organix Renewing Moroccan Argan Oil- I've already talked about these products in Project Lucius Malfoy and Best Ten Under €10 , but I really do love the Organix shampoo and conditioner, I want to try out the deep treatment mask next. It really softens the hair and brings a bit of life and health and shine to my hair. With the argan oil in the shampoo, I would really recommend these to people that are trying to counteract the effects of bleaching and trying to grow their hair.

L'Oreal Essential Oils- Trying to grow my hair and having it in the best possible condition, I found this hair oil can be so beneficial, especially with cutting down on his number of split ends, so I don't have to get the hairdresser to go near the ends of my hair! It also helps it look healthy and shiny, and it feels so lightweight, it doesn't weigh down the hair or make it greasy.

Wet N Wild Palette- For anyone who isn't too confident with doing eye make-up and really wants to try and improve, before delving in and buying a Nars or Naked Palette, should give the Wet N Wild palette for practice, as it's so cheap. I personally don't think there's any point in getting an expensive eye shadow palette unless you are good at doing eye make-up, but that's just me. The Wet N Wild palette is only €5.49 and it lasts long and the colours compliment each other well, even printing on the eyeshadow which is for the lid, crease and the browbone.

Wet N Wild Nail Polish- Most of the nail polishes in the Wet N Wild collection don't come any more expensive than €3! I got a gorgeous nude shade called Wet Cement and a really pretty deep emerald green called Caribbean Frost. It really surprised me that nail polish that cheap didn't chip so easily! I got around 6 days out of each painting.

Charity Pot- Courtesy of my fantastic boyfriend, he got me the My Fair Lady gift set from Lush as an early birthday present, ahhhh! I adore the set so much and I will do a  proper review on the set when I get my new camera. I was already familiar with Charity Pot with their small versions for €1 at the counter. The smell of this stuff is perfection. It smells like really high quality chocolate and raw cocoa butter, mmm... It sinks in so quickly and it is super hydrating. The smell stays for ages and you can get the smell on clothes too. Best of all, all profits go to charity! :)

Buffy Body Butter Scrub Bar- One of my favourite things from the My Fair Lady gift, the Buffy Body Butter Scrub bar is amazing. Using this all over my skin was like a massage, the ground aduki beans to scrub away dead skin made it so nice to use and it left my skin so velvety soft and smooth and extremely hydrated. I didn't even need a body lotion on after, amazing. :)

I hope you all liked this post and thanks for reading. :)
