Lush Bath Bombs!

Hey guys! How are you all doing today? I've been so beyond bust lately, I've hardly found the time to blog recently! I should be back on track in two weeks, but bare with me for the time being! Today, I'll be talking about two of the bath bombs I picked up in my favourite place, Lush! When I was last there, I picked up Unicorn Horn bubble bar and Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment. Here's what I thought of them!

Unicorn Horn
Ever since Lush released Unicorn Horn, I was so eager to get my hands on it! Just look at how pretty! Which was my main problem, it is simply too pretty to use. I adored this bubble bar from the get go. It smelled wonderful, and lavender was the main scent in Unicorn Horn. The key ingredients in Unicorn Horn are: Lavender- Calming and relaxing. Ylang Ylang- Sweet, floral and aromatic. Neroli Oil- Toning and uplifting. Unicorn made for a really relaxing bath, ready for bed. I used this all in one bath and there were so many bubbles, I loved it! It turned the bath water a light pink and it was really sweet smelling, which lasted for ages on the skin. 10/10. €5.95.

Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment
One of my favourite Lush oils, which I was not too surprised to see, got a makeover. As Lush have been giving facelifts and makeovers to many of their products. I was curious and I wanted to see if I would still love it. I loved the look of it and the lustre, however, it is alot smaller! It has a similar scent to Creamy Candy bubble bar, like sweets and candy floss, which I love alot! There were barely any bubbles at all, which was really disappointing! It did soften the skin, but turned the bath a weird orange colour. I was really disappointed Lush gave Mmmelting Marshmallow Moment a makeover and it ended up disappointing. Boo. I much preferred the original! It was a very meh bath oil. The key ingredients is Marshmallow Powder-  Soothes and softens. Extra Virgin Coconut Oil- Softens and moisturises. Almond Oil- Hydrates skin. 5/10. €2.95.

What are your favourite bath products from Lush? Have you tried any of the new or made over products? What were your thoughts? Let me know below!

Clarins Eye Contour Gel

Hey everyone! How are you all doing today? Sorry about this post being delayed and being the only post of the week! Things this week are so hectic. My best friend is getting married in early March and I'm a bridesmaid, so it's all go at the moment! Today I'll be talking about the Eye Contour gel from Clarins. Clarins is my all time favourite skincare brand, so I knew I wouldn't be disappointed! My main issue with my eyes is my dark circles. I have noticed when looking for eye creams, creams specifically targeted for dark circles are few and far in between. I finally found an eye cream from my favourite brand for dark circles and puffiness.

The Clarins Eye Contour Gel is a blue colour, and has a gel texture, as opposed to the usual creams. The key ingredients in the Clarins Eye Contour Gel are: Wild Rose- Minimizes the looks of dark circles and puffiness. Concentrated Rose Water- Relaxes, softens and smoothes the skin. Palmetto- Refreshes and tones eyelids. This eye contour gel has a really lovely cooling and soothing feeling on the skin, which I really love! I see how this would really reduce any puffiness around the eyes. I picked this gel at the duty free in Dublin on my way to Bruges. I feel the first day in Bruges, I really put this eye gel to the test! I had no sleep in 39 hours. After a panic attack and alot of crying (I lost my debit card abroad!) I had an hour long nap, and applied this beforehand. Under my eyes looked brilliant! Like I had a fantastic 10 hour and worry free nap. It was love at first use.

Now, the Clarins Eye Contour Gel, or any eye product at all, will remove hereditary dark circles, or the self inflicted ones. However, I think that this eye contour gel greatly reduces them! It also smoothes and really brightens the eye area. This eye contour gel sinks in in a minute. It's not so hydrating though. This eye gel is completely non oily and it makes make-up under the eyes look fantastic, acts like a primer, and make-up lasts alot longer. The Clarins Eye Contour Gel is non oily, and suited for even the most sensitive eyes.
The Clarins Eye Contour Gel cost me €28 in the duty free, however, it is usually €35. The tiniest bit of this gel goes a long way. I give the Clarins Eye Contour Gel 10/10 and it will be a constant repurchase for me!
Have you ever tried the Clarins Eye Contour Gel before? What were your thoughts? What is your go to eye cream? Let me know below!

John Frieda Luxurious Volume Root Booster

Hey everyone! How are you all doing today? Happy Friday! I was in Boots two weeks ago, and I always make a trip down the hair care aisle as I love to try out and test haircare products. Hair is such an important thing to maintain and look after as best as you can. The healthier it looks, the better. I picked up the travel sized John Frieda Luxurious Volume Blow Dry Lotion Root Booster, which is designed for fine hair. Now to be honest, I am not in the slightest, this product's target audience. I have very thick hair, and believe me, volume is never an issue. When I sleep on freshly washed hair, I wake up with so much height and volume (a lion's mane) on the crown of my head. I've grown to really love it! I bought this root booster to keep the volume in my hair throughout the day and add a little extra oomph.

I feel that this product is really wonderful for all hair types. If you have fine, thin hair that you want to add volume to, or you have thick hair like me, and want to add a little extra boost to the crown of your hair. I apply the John Frieda Root Booster under my first layer of hair, near my roots, when my hair is damp, or as a finishing product to freshly styled hair. Immediately when to spray it in, it leaves the same sticky feeling that hairspray does. Don't worry though, it leaves almost immediately, whether you put a brush through your hair or not. Hair looks instantly fuller. The John Frieda Root Booster spray has some hold also. However, if you have fine hair, I would finish your hair off with a good hairspray also.
The John Frieda Luxurious Volume Root Booster feels so light in the hair, it leaves absolutely no trace or residue! It leaves a wonderful salon like scent in your hair. I will definitely be repurchasing this Root Boosting spray when my bottle runs out! The John Frieda Luxurious Volume Root Booster  costs €7.99 for a 125ml, which I think is good value for money. I give it 9/10.
Have you tried the John Frieda Luxurious Volume Root Booster yet? What were your thoughts? Let me know below!

Collection Lasting Perfection concealer

Hey guys! How are you all doing? Hope you're all enjoying pancake Tuesday! I am a night owl, so I have prominent dark circles under my eyes, so I go through concealers like Tic Tacs! I love to try out new concealers. I know, I am so late to the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer party! I know it has a massive Holy Grail status in the blogging community. I finally got around to buying it (and finding it). So, I thought I would let you all know my thoughts on this well reputed, and very budget friendly, concealer.

I don't think there is much variety in the range of these concealers, only three shades available. I picked the concealer up in the lightest shade, Fair 01, which turned out to be a fantastic match for my skin tone! I love the consistency of this concealer. It has a lovely thick, creamy consistency. I love the coverage this concealer gives, which I would describe as medium coverage. It hides blemishes, and dark circles, especially well. The Collection Lasting Perfection concealer blends wonderfully into my foundation and has a completely matte finish.

The packaging is typical enough, with a doefoot applicator, which I love. The Collection concealer lasts all day, from morning to evening on the skin. The 16hr wear this concealer promises however, is a bit of a stretch. I get the hype with the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer amongst the blogging community. It lasts a long time, the consistency is wonderful. The coverage is great. If you have dark circles, I would especially recommend this concealer. However, I prefer the Max Factor Mastertouch concealer. I give the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer 9/10, and it cost me €5.75.

The February Wishlist

Hey guys! How are you all doing this Friday? Wishlist posts are really one of my favourite kind of blogs to write. I love sharing what I'm loving lately, and I really love to read other blogger's wishlists! It's my birthday in March, so I might be able to cross one or two off this wishlist out of my birthday money soon enough!

Urban Decay eye primer potion

When I got the Naked Palette for my last birthday, it included four capsules of the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer Potion in: Original, Anti-Ageing, Eden and Sin. I've recently finished every little bit of them all and I absolutely loved this primer! It makes sure that eyeshadow lasts from morning to night, it doesn't crease and makes the pigments so much more vibrant! I especially loved this primer in Sin, I think it's stunning enough to be worn on its own! A definite purchase very soon.
Urban Decay Spectrum Palette

Another Urban Decay beauty. Seriously, how beautiful is the Spectrum palette?! The Spectrum palette features some vivid and colourful pinks, purples, greens and blues, while still including some wonderful nude shades that we're all familiar with. I just know this will be a brilliant palette to experiment around with. It's a nice change from the nudes and rose gold toned palettes! As with all Urban Decay palettes, the shadows have perfect pigment with a high colour payoff and a one of a kind longevity. I think the Urban Decay Spectrum palette will be a winner!

SkinnyDip Liquid Sarcasm bag

Buy here €42

I'm sarcastic. I love bags. It was meant to be. When I was in Topshop a week ago, I was delighted to see that they were stocking the SkinnyDip London brand! I have to admit, I am loving the fun, kawaii and tacky clothes and accessories that's been flooding my Instagram lately! It's just fun, and nothing too serious, It's nice to mix it up a little bit. I am in love with the Liquid Sarcasm cross body bag shaped like a can, and, as much as it pains me to admit, I love the pink glittery finish.

Daniel Wellington watch
Buy here €179

I am too fussy when it comes to watches, therefore, I actually haven't owned a watch in years. I find alot of the watches on the markets, especially for women, are either too complicated and fussy, too dainty or too clunky. The Daniel Wellington Classic Sheffield watch in rose gold? Perfect. Everything I've been looking for in a watch! A sleek, timeless elegant watch with a big face. It's not overly feminine and looks more unisex. One day. <3

Disturbia Alienation Jacket

I just need this jacket in my life. Unlike most jackets I own, the Alienation jacket from Disturbia actually looks warm! I think this would be the perfect jacket that would match everything in my wardrobe. I adore the design on the back so much. I love that it's 100% cotton and distressed in parts!

Zipper Face bag

I am so in love with this gimp mask zipper bag so much! It is the bag of dreams. It can be worn both and a backpack or slung over the shoulder. It is made from vegan leather and in the shape of a bondage mask. It's quite a roomy bag so there is plenty of space for all your needs, your phone, gym gear, your ball gag and nipple clamps and your wallet! The zipper mouth is its own compartment. At $120, I won't be buying it in a hurry. :(

Origins Out of Trouble face mask

I love the Origins skincare range so much! Pricey though it is, I think it is worth every penny. Origins just works so well on my skin. Especially their Checks and Balances foaming face wash. I have been wanting a face mask from Origins for a good while now, and their Out of Trouble face mask seems like it will tick all of the boxes for me. Designed for oily skin, Out of Trouble promises to come to the rescue when skin is too oily or you feel a spot ready to come up. Sweeping away debris and dead cells. It promises to refine rough texture, absorb excess shine and stop any outbursts! Is this a mask that can really do it all? I'm hopeful!

And that is what I have been eyeing up this February! Let me know below what is on your wishlist!

Honey I Washed My Hair shampoo bar

Hey guys! How are you all doing today? I recently made a trip up to Lush, which you all know I love! Amongst other things, I needed to get a new shampoo bar. Once you go shampoo bar, you don't go back! I loved the Seanik shampoo bar alot, but I fancied something more conditioning and hydrating. One of the girls in the Lush Henry Street store recommended the Honey I Washed My Hair shampoo bar when I explained what I wanted. Out of all the shampoo bars, Honey I Washed My Hair has the most amazing scent. A warm sweet toffee scent with honey. Very similar scent to the Honey I Washed The Kids Lush soap.

The key ingredients in this shampoo bar are: Fairtrade Honey- Moisturising and anti-septic. Sweet Wild Orange Oil- Refreshing and uplifting. Bergamot Oil- Uplifting and cleansing. Honeycomb- Moisturising and sweet scented. I just cannot get over the scent of this shampoo bar! The wonderful scent stays in my hair after styling. It's warm, sweet and cosy.
This shampoo bar left my hair feeling hydrated, shiny, softened and so so weightless and light! There is less frizz in my hair and my hair looks overall healthier and less tangled after washing. It feels conditioned. I really think Honey I Washed My Hair would work best on coloured and dry hair.
This shampoo bar costs €8.95 and I give it 9/10.
